There is something quietly powerful about women gathering together — to slow down, to create, to be witnessed.
The Women's Circle — Create + Connect is a biweekly Sunday afternoon gathering rooted in art, gentle intention, and community.
Each session is held outdoors at Wildflower Park in Ranchlands, beautifully set with tea, natural materials, and a guided art activity to anchor you into the present moment. Woven through the afternoon is space for shared story, a soft guided breath, and the simple pleasure of making something with your hands alongside other women.
This is a place to feel held. To feel inspired. To reconnect with your creativity, with yourself, and with the women around you.
We hold the intention to gather outdoors, and will move into the Clay Nest studio in Ranchlands when Calgary weather has other plans.

Botanical Dyeing & Textile Printmaking Workshop

Two Tickets for $90
NO experience required! This workshop invites you to explore the exciting world of textile art through eco dyeing and fabric printmaking. Using plants, natural materials, and handmade stamps, participants will experiment with colour, pattern, and texture to create their own unique textiles. You will have the opportunity to explore botanical dyeing by working with leaves, flowers, and plant matter to discover how natural materials can create bold and surprising results on fabric. Participants also can design and create printmaking stamps to print patterns and designs onto textiles.
The session encourages curiosity, experimentation, and creative confidence, with a balance of guided instruction and open-ended exploration. Best part - you get to bring home your designs to use!
Handbuilding Pottery Workshop: Functional Forms
All Ages (Recommended 6+)

This workshop requires no experience.
Join us for a welcoming and creative pottery experience as we explore the art of handbuilding with clay.
In this two-part workshop, you’ll be guided through foundational techniques including coil building, slab rolling, and sculpting to create your own functional pieces—such as cups, bowls, vases, or simple sculptures. The first session focuses on building and forming your pieces, while the second session is dedicated to glazing, where you’ll add colour and finish your work before it is kiln-fired.
Whether you’re brand new to clay or looking to reconnect with creating, this workshop offers a relaxed and supportive environment to learn, experiment, and make something truly your own.
All materials, tools, and firings are included.
