Little Makers - Crafting

The focus of this class is to spark a love of crafting and nurture each child’s unique creativity. We use open-ended materials, loose parts, and plenty of upcycled or recycled items to inspire imagination. Projects can stay simple for little ones with shorter attention spans or become more detailed for kids who love to dive deeper. Each class includes multiple craft stations—such as sensory play, collage, building, or a simple guided project—so every child can find something that matches their interests and invites them to explore.

This class does not require parents to stay. However if your little one needs the extra support or comfort we welcome you to stay.

This class is designed for young artists who are ready to explore materials more deeply and build confidence in their creative skills. Children will experiment with a range of artistic tools and techniques—such as painting, fabric dying with natural materials, clay, mixed media, and early drawing skills. Each session offers thoughtfully planned projects that encourage mindfulness, imagination, and artistic growth. With gentle guidance and plenty of creative freedom, kids will learn how to work with new materials, develop their own ideas, and create artwork they feel proud of.

Students will work with mediums such as painting, drawing, clay, textiles, and mixed media. As skills grow, students are supported in taking on more detailed work, learning new techniques, and expressing their ideas with greater confidence. With guidance that meets each child at their level, this class provides a meaningful, enriching, and fun studio experience—perfect for kids who love to create or are eager to discover what they can make.
