Youth Pottery Workshop — Handmade Mugs
Join us at Clay Nest Art Studio for a fun evening of creativity, exploration and pottery making!
In this hands-on workshop, young artists ages 8–14 will explore the wonderful world of pottery as they learn to build their very own ceramic mugs from scratch.
We'll introduce foundational handbuilding techniques, working with slabs of clay to shape and construct our mugs, attach handles and explore different ways to add texture and personality.
From playful patterns and whimsical details to simple, beautiful designs, each young artist will have the freedom to make something uniquely their own.
Once complete, their handmade mugs will be carefully dried, kiln-fired and glazed in their chosen studio colour, ready to take home and enjoy!
No experience necessary. Just bring your creativity!
Thursday, November 12
Time: 5:30–7:30 PM
Ages: 8–14
Cost: $55 per participant
Location: Clay Nest Art Studio | Ranchlands NW, Calgary
All materials, instruction, glazing and firing are included.
Only 8 spaces available!
